I am a freelance writer and editor. I have written about various topics in medicine, the life sciences, agriculture, forensic science, law and history. I have also published articles that explore business and legal aspects of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.

During the past several years, I also have written more than 54 short stories for the education market, as well as mystery stories for general readers. In 2010, L&L Dreamspell published Thin Ice, my science fiction-mystery novella.

 

In addition to writing, I teach an online forensic science survey course, "Forensic Science for Writers," which I designed and authored.
